“When in doubt wear red.” – Bill Blass

February is #HeartMonth, and we’re going red.  And we’re not just talking about wine and roses here.   We’re talking about American Heart Awareness Month.   On Valentine’s Day, the very day dedicated to love and the color red, we wanted to highlight that red can be so much more than the color of a box of candy.   Every February, designers and fashionistas alike come together to Go Red For Women and raise awareness about heart disease, the number one threat to women’s health worldwide.

If you’re in the mood for love, check out these heart-themed accessories and wear your heart on your sleeve (or neck, or finger):

On this day of love, find it in your heart to go red – not only to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but to raise awareness for heart disease.   There’s a very important heart at stake here:  yours.   Between the candy and roses, put a little love in your heart – for your Valentine, but also for you.  Love yourself.  Because you deserve it.
